Using the "Take Me To" links

Online Banking's "Take Me To" feature allows you to choose what online banking page you would like navigate to when you sign in. This allows added convenience for you - navigate to a specific area for faster service!

To use the "Take Me To" feature, enter your Access ID. Then from the drop down menu, choose your destination and click "Log In." Once you log in, you will be taken to your chosen page.

The default to the "Take Me To" feature is Account List, which is the Online Banking home page. Other options include: Express Transfer, Primary Account Summary, Stop Payments, User Options, Nicknames, Transaction Search, and Transaction Export.

Where do I enter my password?

We are changing the way you sign in to Online Banking to better safeguard the privacy and security of your personal information. Previously, you signed in to Online Banking using your Access ID and Password. From now on, you'll also use your Enhanced Online Security feature, which consists of an authentication image and authentication pass phrase. Here's how this new service will work:

You'll enter your Access ID and click the Log In button.
On the next page, your authentication image will then be displayed. If you recognize your authentication image, you'll know you can safely enter your Password. If you don't recognize your authentication image and pass phrase when you log in, do not enter your password.
Your authentication image and pass phrase helps you know for sure that you are at the valid Mechanics Bank website.

NOTE: If you have not yet created your personalized authentication image and pass phrase with our Enhanced Online Security feature, you will be prompted to do so before you can sign in to Online Banking.

eStatements and eDelivery

Now you can view, print and save your account statements with eStatements. eStatements are exact copies of your printed checking account statements available electronically in PDF* format. They are easy to access via our Personal and Basic Business Online Banking. eStatements are a FREE service with Online Banking. Click on your checking account, then click the "Statements" tab to view.

Go Green! Stop receiving your paper statements in the mail with eDelivery. You can safely and securely manage your bank statements without the hassle of paper via Online Banking. eDelivery of your account statement is currently available for checking accounts only. Enroll for eDelivery to stop the mailing of your paper statement by clicking the "eDelivery Sign Up" tab within Personal or Basic Business Online Banking.

To Get Started

Enroll for Personal or Basic Business Online Banking. Once enrolled, your eStatements will already be available! Stop the delivery of your paper statement by clicking the "eDelivery Sign Up" tab within Online Banking. Fill out the secure form: you will need your name, checking account number(s), email address, zip code and daytime phone number to complete the process.

*eStatements/eDelivery documents are saved as Adobe PDF documents and you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader (version 4.0 or higher) to access, retain or print a PDF file. If you do not have Adobe Reader, you can download it for free at www.adobe.com.
